This piece has many many layers. I used Acrylic paint, Caran D'Ache and Woody Sticks to create the textures and patterns.
Done on a small 4" x 4" Wooden cradle panel. I used some hand made collage papers along with Woody Sticks. Added line with fillable tibe liner and Golden Fluid Gold paint.
The same materials were used in this piece as the one above. Influenced by the mountains in North Carolina during my Artist in Residence Program.
This piece has an undercoating of acrylic paint, but the majority of the painting was done with Stabilo Woody Pencils and Caran d'Ache water-soluble pencils.
I worked on a series of paintings using acrylics and water soluble pencils. I kept them dry and did not add any water to them. There are many layers under this painting. At the time I was experimenting with simple shapes and how I could interconnect them while giving out some spiritual suggestions.
